“Winning the award is first humbling; to know that someone thinks enough of you to even consider nominating you is a blessing. I thank Mr. Ray Roberts for his confidence and support. To be awarded a state-wide distinction is amazing,” said Dr. Allen. “It is an honor to be recognized and to work for an institution that appreciates you and shares what you do with others. The award also challenges me to enhance what I do to better serve students. I am appreciative to President Dr. Boehm for bringing me to Hill College and continuously supporting me, my division and department for keeping me on at Hill College, and the students for being a joy to teach. I am grateful!”
